چکیده
Abstract Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) has only recently emerged as a potential target in posttraumatic headache. To our knowledge, this is the first description of patient with persistent headache following severe traumatic head injury who been treated CGRP receptor monoclonal antibody erenumab. A 56-year-old man presented 30-year history frequent migraine-like headaches high-voltage that he an excessive intake peripheral analgesics. Although amitriptyline was reasonably effective, it had to be discontinued when developed restless legs syndrome second year treatment. Under therapy erenumab, achieved rapid and stable reduction his symptoms down 2–3 days per month without adverse events. This case demonstrates inhibition CGRP-receptor erenumab could effective treatment option even decades after event.

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is mostly attributed to the presence of an autoantibody against ADAMTS-13, a metalloprotease that degrades ultralarge von Willebrand protein multimers. Accumulation of vWF multimers and systemic platelet aggregation lead to microangiopathic thrombosis, hemolytic anemia, and end-organ ischemia. Most patients respond to therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE), ...
